WELCOME TO JANUARY 2021

Well, here we are, we have safely landed in the New Year 2021, and now 2020 is officially in the record books. (Everyone takes a praise break right here!) And what a year it was, there’s no love loss here seeing the old year go out. But in spite of everything that went wrong in 2020, God reminded us that He was still God, He is still good and He is still faithful! (Can I get an amen?)
Now, knowing well that our world will never be the same again, we can take great comfort in the goodness and the faithfulness of our Heavenly Father. One of my favorite scriptures is found in Matthew 7:11, where Jesus said, “If you then being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in Heave, give good things to those who ask!” Over the past year I think it’s safe to say that we all have found a greater appreciation and love for the Word of God. His Word, the Holy Spirit and the fellowship of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ have all been very valuable over the last year.
So, instead of mulling over all the bad things that happened in 2020, let’s stop and count our blessings and let’s celebrate the fact that God brought us through it! If the Lord tarries just think about the stories we will have to tell. The Bible does say, we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, so let’s start testifying about the greatness of our God!
Hopefully as the year goes along, we can get back to more normal activities, programs, fellowships, special meetings etc., but for now we will continue to limit our activities. Be encouraged, stay filled up with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Be involved as much as you can at this point and remember, keep your fork because the best is yet to come!

We love and appreciate each and every one of you!
